Police are investigating the sickening incident in Leeds
PARENTS have been warned after a man performed a lovemaking act on a social media app being used by primary school children.
Police are investigating the incident on Monday which witnessed a stranger log in to the movie talk app Live.ly and expose himself to a group of children who were using it.
A letter has been sent to parents of pupils at a Leeds school warning them to delete the app from the children's phones.
It also said that Leeds Safeguarding Children Board has been made aware of more than one similar incident involving the app in at least the last week.
Leeds District Safeguarding Unit are investigating and have appealed for information that could identfy the man.

West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told The Sun: "Officers are also liaising with Leeds City Council and working with schools to suggest support to pupils and to reinforce messages to pupils and parents around online safety."
In the Leeds school letter, teachers warned the app is "unsafe for children to use".
It said: "Whilst the app is only supposed to access contacts on the user's phone, it emerges that fairly quickly, friends of friends of friends are able to join the group talk whom your child does not know at all.
"It is therefore an unsafe app for children to use, as it risks either an incident such as happened yesterday, or opportunities for your child to be groomed online and therefore at risk of sexual exploitation."
Music.ly, which operates the Live.ly app, has been contacted for comment.
