Duo is absolutely the best . In my view even better than facetime. Facetime is sometimes spotty.

Give it a web app and add group call support, then IMO it could eventually over take Facebook Messenger, Skype and Facetime for movie calling
But Whatsapp and WeChat are most likely still gonna be superior

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the app, but the issue is that you need to be networked with other people for it to even matter, and thus far, everyone I know uses Facebook Messenger or Skype, and have no interest in attempting something fresh. . maybe that’ll switch when Facebook Messenger introduces ads in their app, which I heard was coming soon.

the 2nd FBM introduces ads is the 2nd I uninstall. Hopefully Google supports Duo and such for years, as they have a bad track record for not supporting apps anymore/killing them shortly after released

Duo is undoubtedly prompt and in my practice better than FaceTime.
