– Opera Mini, Current versions (Five.x/6.x) are native Symbian. Opera Mini Four.x is Java based.
– Skyfire, Free browser with flash support, good page rendering (Java)
– UCWeb, Free S60 Web Browser with Tab Support (No Flash Support) (Java)

– Nokia Mobile Web Server, Free mobile web server for mobile phones (beta)
– Nokia Messaging, Shove Email Client, supports POP and IMAP (presently free in beta)
– Emoze, Free IMAP thrust client. Supports Gmail and integrates nicely into UI. Also can check on a schedule (e.g. Fifteen minutes) to save battery/data.
– ProfiMail, ProfiMail is a powerful e-mail client for mobile devices, that supports HTML.
– Mail for Exchange for those using Microsoft Exhange as your email server
– Ovi Mail Beta is a fresh Nokia beta labs application that is still undergoing beta testing. It is presently a free app and includes an Ovi mail account.
– Fring, All-in-one Skype, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ talk and voice calls on your mobile phone.
– Slick by Lonely Cat Games, Similar to Fring, but works better – multi-protocol IM client.
– Palringo, another multi protocol IM client, that also has a handy "Shove to Talk" functionality
– Internet telephone (built-in), Phones such as the N85 and N79 need to download SIP v3 for this to be activated while all E-Series have this VOIP client pre-installed.
– Skype, the Official Client (Java)

– Garmin Mobile XT (not free)
– Ovi Maps Ovi beta labs application. Over writes Nokia maps Trio.0. Not compatible with older maps.
– Nokia Maps Loader is a Windows application that permits you to preload map data into your MicroSD card, along with voice packs. This permits you to use Nokia Maps + Drive/Walk offline without incurring data charges.

Multi-band equalizer and loudness/stereo widening. Better file/library management compared to default player.
