Jefferson emergency medicine physicians are available 24/7 through On-Demand Movie Visits. You can connect with our doctors anytime, anywhere, when you don’t want to go somewhere to see a doctor.

Through movie conferencing technology, patients and clinicians connect virtually to discuss recovery progress after procedures or illnesses, and address other significant information related to patient care.

People who have been seen and diagnosed by their own physician can request a 2nd opinion from a Jefferson physician without having to travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

For Patients’ Families

Our Virtual Rounds (when hospital care teams visit with patients at the bedside) permit patients in Jefferson hospitals to connect family members with their care teams during real-time discussions at the bedside.

The Jefferson Neuroscience Network is a program committed to partnering with hospitals in the region through collaboration, education and telemedicine to improve neuroscience care and increase access to specialty physicians.

Jefferson is expanding access to specialty physicians through remote consults. Jefferson is using telehealth to permit emergency physicians get a remote consult from a specialist regarding a patient’s care treatment without requiring the specialist to be onsite.

For On-Demand or Scheduled Online Visits:

* Due to medical licensing regulations, you must be physically located in the one of the following states in order to receive care: PA, NJ, DE, and MD. As Jefferson expands this program, look for extra states to be added to this list.
