Unfollow device now violated
Over the years, I’ve unfollowed a few people and now this no longer works. These people’s statuses/photos/etc. have been displaying up on my feed. I click the menu on the status/photo/etc. and hide all from that user only to have it display up again. I go to their profile and click unfollow and it instantly goes back to default. I go to newsfeed preferences and go to unfollow people to hide their posts and click them and for half a 2nd they are unfollowed before telling I’m following them again. Fix this.
Also, PLEASE give the option to turn off messages from everyone. I’m not downloading your message app. I shouldn’t have to physically login on a computer to check messages that I don’t even want.
Why doesn’t the search feature work in groups anymore?? It searches the entire of Facebook instead now. Also why are the posts all over the place? I think majority of people want to see the most latest posts very first. Not the post soup that it’s doing. This especially a agony when using events bc the newest posts get buried and you don’t even see them half the time. It seems like every "update" just messes stuff up more :-/. It’d be indeed helpful if instead of a generic nothing it would actually TELL you what feature have been added or updated instead of it being a surprise.

Why is it whenever I update Facebook, it seems like the app is getting worse over time? I loved it before when you could see pictures to the events and there was no such thing as "Facebook stories" I’ve had Facebook for almost eight years and there are some things that have switched in a good way and others that have switched in a bad way. Attempt to think more convenient Facebook but also attempt to make it an pleasant practice for users.
Compatibility: Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
